Our main attraction was those who like mob titles like
Goodfellas or Casino. A younger audience (not too young, around 16-25) although
those who like the classic Goodfellas that were young are now their
mid-thirties. We took that into consideration.
Also, to appeal to the mob/action genre we tried to make the poster similar to that by adding an overly and obnoxious action-packed advertisement posters (as displayed below :)
The over the top theme really fits out film, I decided to
make it money-orientated with a touch of gunshots and a light blood smear
covering the main title.
I believe this would draw the eyes of those seeking out an
action packed film.
Secondly, I used inspiration from another action packed and over the top film posters. Here’s an example of theirs compared to ours.
